QUEEN VINYLS AND MEMORABILIA EXHIBITION
In Italy, for the 1st time, ever!

QueenItalia, the italian Queen community, proudly set up a Queen exhibition during the traditional VINILMANIA, one of the most famous vinyls and collectors items fair, in Europe.

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May 2008 - from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm - at the "Parco Esposizioni" in Novegro, Milan (next to Linate airport).

Tickets for VINILMANIA are 8,00 euros - Queen's exhibition is inside.

An unique chance to be in front of the rarest Queen records in the world, such as rare colored vinyls from S. America, acetates, test pressing and obscure picture sleeves from all the globe; from 70s to 90s. And not only vinyls...

You'll see also a lot of memorabilia, signed items, flyers and posters. All pieces come from private collections of some of the most famous Italian Queen collectors:

Karim Navarrini (longtime serious Queen records collector, owner of some unique and impossible to find items),
Luca Navacchia (during the years, he specialized in SIGNED ITEMS, from early days to Innuendo) and
Ferdinando Frega (well known italian Queen collector - He had co-operations with Record Collector, RaRo! and you can read his name in "Killer Queen, Genesis Limited Edition" book credits - Take a look at his webiste http://www.queenmuseum.com and you'll see...)

Plus some old cuttings and scrapbooks, coming from Alessandro Cannarozzo (Yes, It's ME!) and his website
QueenItalia webmaster too, he's the promoter of this Queen event in Italy.

Some of the items will be shown in the public for the very first time and it's an unique chance for Queen fan and record collectors to have a look at these amazing collections.

Rock on!

Wanna get inside the classic Queen tone with the man who know the secret?

Now you can!
Just look at my last update: an exclusive interview to Brian May from Jan. 2008 issue of Guitar & Bass Magazine.
Thanks to Roberto from QueenItalia for this great contribution!

I'll be back soon with (70s) new cuttings!

Rock on!

International radio station, Big L 1395AM will be continuing its highly successful programme, This Sunday At Nine with a look at the music and career of Queen.

Hosted by former BBC Radio 1 DJ, Mike Read, the hour-long programme will feature classic tracks and some forgotten gems too. Big L 1395 probably plays more Queen than any other commercial radio station.

The show airs on Sunday 27 April at 21.00 (bst) and repeats on Wednesday 30 April at 21.00 (bst).

Big L is available on 1395AM - Sky Digital 0190 and www.bigl.co.uk

Thanks to Chris Byland for the news.

I'll be back soon with many many more new cuttings of QUEEN (please, let me have the time to scan them all) but...

In the meanwhile, have you listen to C-lebrity, the brand new song from Queen+ Paul Rodgers?
Yes? And what do you think of it? (just let me know your comments through the new poll, on the right)

By the way, I'll be in Milano (28th sept. 2008) and that will be the only Queen+ P.R show I'll attend, this year (what a shame that Verona has been canceled), will I meet some of you guys, on the road? Get in touch!

Rock on
