Bohemian Rhapsody is the best video ever, in a survey carried out by the UK telephone company O2

QUEEN VOTED FOR BEST VIDEO
LONDON – The love for Queen gives no sign of dropping off. Almost 16 years after the death of its charismatic frontman, the English rock band is still topping the likings of people who love music. It shows in two polls which have tested the British tastes about the best videos and duets in the history of rock.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” was voted the best ever clip.
Dated 1975, it is wrongly considered the first video in the history of music. It took three hours to be shot by the film maker Bruce Gowers. Cost: 3,500 pounds. The six minute long song topped the UK charts immediately after its release and it remained there for nine weeks. Bohemian Rhapsody beated Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” in a survey carried out by the telephone company O2.
The second demonstration of esteem has come from a referendum among the BBC Music 6 listeners. They have been asked what were the best and the worst ever duets. Among the best collaborations, at number three, there is the one between Queen and David Bowie: “Under Pressure”.
Numer one is “Foggy Due” by Sinead O’Connor and Chieftains, followed by Kirsty Mac Coll and Pogues with “Fairytale of New York”.
Upside-down chart: the worst have been Paul Mc Cartney and Stevie Wonder, with “Ebony and Ivory”. Before the ex Beatle and the king of soul music we find Artur Mullard and Hilda Baker with “You’re the One That I Want”, from the soundtrack of the movie “Grease”. Number three of the worst is for another superduet: Mick Jagger and David Bowie with their “Dancing in theStreets”.
